Message from the County Judge

As your County Judge, my staff and I look forward to meeting you and providing
services for you. My office hours are from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM on Monday through Friday. As Chief executive officer for the county, I approve the disbursement of funds, operate the system of county roads, administer ordinances enacted by the quorum court, have custody of county property, accept grants from governmental and private sources, hire county employees except those persons employed by other elected officials of the county, and preside over the quorum court without vote, but with the power of veto. As a public official, my staff and I are dedicated to providing quick and efficient service to the citizens of Jackson County.
